Digital Women exists to create community and empower women in business and digital, through support; skills and networking. We know the power of creating spaces for people to come together and share experiences; share skills and raise each other up! Gathering together at our big in-person events is so meaningful, but local is where the daily grind happens- in your little corner of the world. “Digital Women Local” is an opportunity to meet others in your area; to network; to build connection and relationships; to learn from each other; to be accountable in reaching your goals and to champion each other in that daily grind.

Digital Women Local is launching its pilot events in Kent and YOU are invited. Join Amy Walters and Karen Thatcher for a morning of networking and themed mini-workshops aimed at creating meaningful community, learning from each other and growing together- all over a great “cup of coffee”. Whether you’re a Digital Women Member or not, if you’re a woman in business/digital in Kent, we’d love to see you there! 

Meet Your Hosts:

Karen Thatcher is the face behind Thatch Creative. She is a Freelance Creative and Comms Consultant specialising in charity comms! Design, storytelling, websites and socials- if it’s communicating, she probably offers it! In her spare time she loves to read, listens to jazz and is a dog-mumma to a fluffy cockerpoo! 

Amy Walters won our Young Digital Woman of the Year Award in 2022! She's the founder of Bloom Creative, a design business based in Ashford offering graphic design and branding services. She loves to travel, meet new people and try new creative hobbies in her spare time!
