Becca
Becca is our Beehive Manager. She is the founder and dreamer of The Beehive. She loves to empower women, has a massive passion for business and making the high street a positive place to be! She is always looking for new ways to make a difference in this town that we love.
When she’s not in the shop, she’s a Key Leader at Pneuma Church, a single mum to 3 kids, she loves great interior design and is a big coffee snob!

Paula
Paula is our Support Worker. She oversees all of our referrals, appointments, and our facilitator team. She is the person at the other end of the line when someone refers or is referred to us. Paula has a huge heart for making people feel beautiful and loved and is always ready to do everything she can to support the people of Ashford.
When she’s not volunteering in this role, she loves to spend time with her family as a wonderful wife, mum and grandma!

Charlotte
Charlotte is our Development Coach. She looks after our volunteers’ wellbeing and creates and delivers our wellbeing workshops for the general public. Charlotte is an incredible cheerleader and a natural encourager. She is excellent at what she does.
When she’s not at the shop, she runs her own business offering 1-1 coaching. She is a wife, a mum to 2 kids, and loves everything to be filled with colour!

Karen
Karen is our Comms and Marketing Manager. She oversees all of our design, branding and communications. She has been part of our core team since day 1. She is passionate about excellent comms, because she knows it makes people feel valued and that they matter.
When she’s not volunteering her time in this role, she’s a Freelance Creative & Comms Consultant, a dog-mumma to a fluffy cockapoo, and a daughter, sister, auntie and friend!

Lauren
Lauren is our Admin Assistant. She joined us on a 6 month placement as part of the Government Kickstart scheme, and she was so brilliant that we had to keep her. She is the first port of call when someone gets in touch at The Beehive. She looks after a whole range of admin and is the awesome driving force behind our Ebay store.
When she’s not at the shop you’ll usually find her with her huge family. She loves great stationery with a passion, but her one TRUE love is football!

These are some of the behind the scenes faces that you may need to know about- some are paid, some are not, all are equally valued.
But our WHOLE team is made up of MANY more people who volunteer their time energy and passion to The Beehive. We can’t name them all (because the list is large and ever changing) but they are all incredibly loved and cherished as part of our Beehive family. We will never stop being grateful that people choose to give their time for free to create space for people to thrive.
